Mode of Action:
2,4-D is a synthetic auxin (a plant growth regulator) that mimics the natural plant hormone auxin. It disrupts normal plant growth by causing uncontrolled, unsustainable cell division and elongation, leading to the eventual death of the weed. This herbicide is absorbed through the leaves and translocated to the plant’s growing points, where it disrupts normal cellular processes.
